The Chopra Addiction and Wellness Center is the first truly holistic addiction treatment program, combining the latest in modern Western medicine with the traditional healing arts of the East. Founded on the principles from the Freedom from Addiction program developed by Deepak Chopra, M.D. and David Simon, M.D., the program emphasizes physical, emotional and spiritual healing. In addition to the deep work that is done in individual and group therapy sessions, guests receive instruction in the timeless tools and techniques of Ayurveda, the world’s oldest healing science. Included in the Ayurveda treatments are yoga, meditation, massage therapy, acupuncture, and vegetarian cuisine. When combined, these practices and treatments enable the creation of balance and integration of body, mind, and spirit, which is required for healing to occur.
