Each day you’ll also go deeper into the timeless spiritual philosophy of Vedanta, which is the foundation of many of the Chopra Center’s teachings. The teachings will be made personal through the lecture sessions as well as a combination of experiential activities that include advanced yogic practices and a unique experience of pranayama techniques to expand consciousness and the body's vital energy. Awaken the divine within you through a daily practice of Primordial Sound Meditation, Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, and sacred silence.

Are there prerequisites to attend Summoning the Sacred?

Yes. Summoning the Sacred is an advanced course offered only to those who have attended Seduction of Spirit, Seduction of Silence, or SynchroDestiny. You’ll take the wisdom and practices you learned at these courses to a deeper, more personal level as well as learning new tools and techniques for connecting to higher states of consciousness.

What will I experience at Summoning the Sacred?

We have created this special event as our most personal, interactive experience with Deepak Chopra and other Chopra Center master educators, offering you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the deepest roots of the spiritual traditions that form the core of the Chopra Center’s teachings and practices.

This is an experiential course where you will be actively participating in activities that will take your understanding of sacred spirituality beyond the level of the intellect into an expanded realm that encompasses all the layers of your body, mind, and spirit.

Imagine being able to have a conversation with Deepak Chopra, Jean Houston, and other guest experts as you explore your most compelling questions about life, spirituality, higher states of consciousness, finding meaning and happiness, living a mythic life, and more!

What is included?

Summoning the Sacred unfolds in the Chopra Center’s beautiful, soul-nurturing atmosphere and includes:

  • An intimate concentration of time with Deepak Chopra (the most of any Chopra Center event)
  • Lessons in advanced yogic practices of pranayama, bandhas, mudras, and chakras
  • A pre-event “refresher” session on Primordial Sound Meditation on Wednesday evening
  • Evening events, including a Tibetan Bowl Meditation, interactive sessions to integrate the teachings of the program with the other attendees, and a final dinner celebration and performance
  • Special guests, including an acclaimed archetype expert and author
  • Delicious, freshly prepared Ayurvedic meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

What time do I check in for the event and what time does it finish?

Check-in at La Costa Resort & Spa begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 29. The event ends at approximately 12:30 p.m. on December 2, followed by lunch (included).
