What happens at Healing the Heart?
Your journey begins with instruction in Primordial Sound Meditation as the ancient technique is explained and the practice demystified. After some free time for meditation and massage, David Simon — co-founder and medical director of the Chopra Center — opens the evening with the first emotional freedom exercise to help you gently identify the depth of your pain and the degree of your turbulence.
Day Two begins with Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga instruction and Primordial Sound Meditation to reconnect you with the stillness and silence that rests within. Dr. Simon then walks you through emotional exercises designed to help you release pain, anger, guilt, and sadness. Dine on vegetarian Ayurvedic lunches designed from the Chopra Center cookbook. The afternoon session includes intimate interactive exercises and journaling, meditation, and profound searchings of the heart. Your day concludes with Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga instruction and meditation. Saturday evening offers optional entertainment.
Day Three begins with yoga and meditation and then another session with Dr. Simon. The program culminates with a cathartic emotional release ceremony to cleanse your heart and bring forgiveness into your heart and soul.
