Camille Carrión – Puerto Rico
Certified instructor of Primordial Sound Meditation, Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, and Perfect Health: Ayurvedic Lifestyle
For anyone who has ever hesitated to try something new or thought, “I’m too old to start a new career or change direction,” Camille Carrión’s story is a beautiful example of how we can continue to expand and tap into deeper layers of our own infinite possibilities.
Since turning sixty, Camille has become a certified instructor of Primordial Sound Meditation and Perfect Health –the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga
“The year I turned 60, I was in a deep funk, thinking that the best part of my life was over. Then I attended a workshop with Deepak Chopra in Massachusetts and it opened my eyes to all the possibilities and opportunities still before me,” said Camille.
“For my birthday I decided to attend the Perfect Health program as a gift to myself. I learned Primordial Sound Meditation and – through the panchakarma cleansing process – let go of all the physical and emotional toxins in my body. It was the beginning of a new life that never ceases to amaze and delight me.”
Before embarking on the Teacher’s Path at Chopra Center University, Camille became well known as an actress and TV producer in Puerto Rico. She also started a radio talk show where she continues to host a weekly meditation program.
“I actually never imagined that I would enjoy teaching. I learned to teach meditation in order to better understand the incredible changes that had started to occur in my life from the moment I started to meditate. But once I had the information, I felt the incredible need to share this knowledge with others. I realized that in my hands I had the ability to help others the same way I had been helped.
“I am amazed by the joy I get out of teaching meditation. The feedback I get from my students gives me so much happiness and such a sense of achievement! The funny thing is that once I just let myself “flow with the Universe” and all of the possibilities it opened for me, I found myself wanting to learn more and more. My teaching has become my life and I love being able to help people with what I have learned,” said Camille.
Ric Saguil, M.D. − Arlington Heights, Illinois
Certified Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga Instructor
“My intention is to have patients, friends, and family experience the benefits of yoga that I have been a witness to. For instance, one of my highly stressed patients with high blood pressure was able to stop taking medications once he started practicing yoga. I attribute my two Chicago Marathon finishes to yoga. When my Mom died from pancreatic cancer, the first thing I did with my Dad was to introduce him to my yoga community.
It is difficult to describe the healing power of yoga because in modern Western cultures, it tends to be categorized as an exercise or physical activity like running and cycling. In reality, yoga is an ancient philosophy that maximizes the union of body, mind, and spirit and allows everyone to practice in their own unique way. Because participation allows the depth of its benefits to be felt firsthand, I am inspired to teach others how to incorporate it into daily living.
Yoga is more than just being able to touch your toes; it is a way to unlock the path to feeling healthier and happier and living life to the highest potential that lies dormant in every cell in your body.”
Dr. Miranda E. J. Fellows - St. Kitts and Nevis, West Indies
Certified Perfect Health Instructor
“Teaching is the true nature of being a doctor. It enables awareness and understanding in my patients so that they feel empowered to make positive lifestyle changes. It is so rewarding to see individuals manifest healing, and it is always team work: the Divine, my patients, and myself.
I am a doctor of chiropractic and a holistic integrated medicine specialist. The practice of Perfect Health enables my patients and me to stay balanced and focused. I have a seven-year-old son named Kephra, whom I delivered in a home birth with the help of my mother and the nurse who runs the birthing wing at Eden Life Rejuvenation Centre. I love life and enjoy the outdoor tropical paradise through hiking, triathlons, sailing, and our sulfur hot springs!”
Damian Vaughn - Scottsdale, Arizona
Certified Primordial Sound Meditation instructor
As a former NFL tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Damian says that it was the practice of meditation that enabled him to transcend the extreme mental and physical challenges of his football career. He became certified through the Chopra Center to teach Primordial Sound Meditation in 2009 and has been studying and teaching meditation for the past sixteen years.
He’s an expert in meditation training and performance coaching with a client list that ranges from athletes and coaches in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL to high achievers in the financial and corporate world. Damian lives in Phoenix with his wife, Nicole, and two children, Chloe Rose and Roman Joseph.
“I am inspired by moments of clarity, epiphanies, serendipity . . . the moment a person gets a glimpse of who they really are and what potential they really have in this lifetime. I love observing the process of self-actualization when people realize for the first time why they were born,” said Damian.
“I am continually inspired by seeing people learn how to make trust one of their greatest assets and go off to become inspiring leaders in their families, businesses, teams, social networks, and the world as a whole. I think that our greatest visionary teachers know how to help those around them remember how to simply BE more, so they can DO more in alignment with who they really are, and HAVE that which they desire most in this lifetime. I am inspired to be and teach like that,” he said.
