Chopra Center University’s certified instructors of Primordial Sound Meditation, Perfect Health/Ayurvedic Lifestyle, and the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga are expressing their dharma in their own community and globally. Once they complete their certification, teachers use the knowledge and practical tools they have gained in a variety of creative ways. Some have opened private studios, others teach in a corporate or university setting, and still others are offering these timeless teachings for health and well-being in prisons, homeless shelters, and in safety houses for victims of domestic abuse. We have heard inspiring stories from instructors who teach meditation and yoga to young children – and from those who are creating and leading retreats and workshops.
This month we caught up with Siobhán Mckenna, a certified Perfect Health and Primordial Sound Meditation instructor from Ireland.
Siobhán couldn't have foreseen how her life would change when she signed up for SynchroDestiny, an empowerment workshop designed to teach you how to transform your deepest driving desires and intentions into your destiny.
Earlier this year, she attended SynchroDestiny in Puerto Rico, just two weeks before entering the “Write a Bestseller” competition sponsored by Ireland’s TV3’s The Morning Show. At the event, she confided in davidji that she was out of sorts and felt like she was pushing against the universe. He reminded her to trust that everything was unfolding exactly as it needed to and to stop trying to control the outcome. And that’s exactly what she did. She kept up her meditation practice while letting go of attachment to results and allowing the universe to take care of the details.
Two weeks later, Siobhán won a once-in-a-lifetime three-book deal with Poolbeg Press. Her first novel, The Lingerie Designer, hit bookshelves June 1. It’s probably not a coincidence that the theme of her book is synchronicity. You can read more about Siobhán’s journey in an article she wrote for Positive Life magazine.
Siobhan’s inspiring story has attracted a lot of media attention, and she has been featured on the The Morning Show, the Herald, The Irish Examiner, and many other major publications.
Congratulations to Siobhán on her new adventures!
