With the new Summer 2011 Meditation Challenge set to begin this August 15, thousands of new and returning participants are signing up at www.chopracentermeditation.com to experience meditation’s power to help them grow younger, live longer, and be happier.

Just one year since its launch the Chopra Center’s 21-Day Meditation Challenge™ has drawn an overwhelming response, with more than 70,000 participants embracing the challenge to meditate every day for 21 days. Each day, meditators receive a free guided audio meditation and instruction based on the Chopra Center’s timeless teachings.

Over the past few years, the Chopra Center has seen a rapidly growing interest and demand for meditation instruction and meditation retreats as people become more and more aware of its profound benefits for our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

For more than 30 years, co-founders Deepak Chopra and David Simon have taught meditation as a cornerstone for greater mind-body health, vitality, stress relief, creativity, spiritual awakening, and peace of mind.

There is a common mistaken assumption that meditation is difficult or that it requires years of practice to receive its benefits. The 21-Day Meditation Challenge is designed to dispel that myth, offering participants step-by-step guidance to help them experience first-hand how practical meditation really is and how immediate and profound the benefits are.
