Dallas Brown

VP of Marketing and Digital Programming

Growing up in Senator Dianne Feinstein’s San Francisco campaign office where her mom worked as personal assistant to the senator, Dallas estimates that by age 13 she had licked closed the envelopes of more than 20,000 fundraising letters.

Today, Dallas’ passions are directed towards coaching, teaching meditation and yoga, speaking, podcasting, and working with the world’s leading spiritual teachers to create programs that help people discover their purpose and passions.

As the vice president of marketing and digital programming for Deepak Chopra’s Chopra Center for Wellbeing, Dallas directs digital strategy and manages a robust portfolio of apps, websites, online courses, and blogs including Oprah & Deepak’s 21-Day Meditation Experience, Chopra Center Online Learning, and the Chopra Centered Lifestyle blog. She leads programs that engage a global community of more than six million.

Dallas regularly interviews the world’s most innovative educators including Deepak Chopra, Dr. Andrew Weil, Eckhart Tolle, Martha Beck, Elizabeth Gilbert, Joan Borysenko, Don Miguel Ruiz, Jean Houston, and many others.

In 2014, Dallas created the Chopra Center Global Meditation, a program that leverages the collective power of shared intention for social change, and set the Guinness World Record for the largest meditation gathering in history. She oversees an intentional online community of millions of individuals who are committed to creating meaningful, healthy, and joyful lives. Dallas graduated from the Martha Beck Life Coaching Institute where it was her privilege to study closely with one of her favorite mentors. She holds an MFA in English and culture from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in English from UC Berkeley.

Two weeks after finishing college, the sudden death of her mother shattered her just-forming ideas of her life into a thousand pieces. Sorting through her grief and the astonishment of being motherless at age 21, Dallas embarked on what would be her life’s greatest journey—the age-old search for what is meaningful and what is true, and the desire to help others do the same.

Dallas has been meditating for over a decade and trained as a Primordial Sound Meditation instructor with the Chopra Center in 2013. When she is not coaching groups of passionate women to forge their own paths, or dreaming up new ways to connect people to the true callings of their hearts, Dallas likes to sit really still. Preferably on the beach by her house, cuddled up with her loving partner and their dog Izzy, settling into the juicy expansiveness of just being.
